if u could go for a week sometime jan to march when would u go?

whens it not too busy and the whether nice?

where would u go if u had a week?

I go to Phuket every year but granted it isn't everyone's cup of tea. It's very touristy and much more expensive than other more remote parts of the country but that's fine with me. The weather will be good during that whole period you are talking about so that shouldn't be an issue.

The earlier you go, the cooler it will be. March is the hot season, wouldn't go in March. Even end of Feb is pretty darn hot.
Probably more tourists in the first week of Jan.
Anytime from the second week of Jan to mid of Feb is best time.

The islands are great. Pai in the mountains is great. The "Mekong Riveria" is great. All up to you.
