They're jsut protecting their own. The AES site clearly speaks for it'self. I would have to ask the officials at Naver if they would think it a fair comparison if the roles were reversed and a website in America were protraying Korean nationals as Lee eun and his group are doing to the NETs? |

You have a website hosted in the US which is much worse than the AES- stormfront.org. Until the US government closes down this website your position is hypocritical. |

Huh? What does Stormfront have to do with AES? Hate to break the news but the majority of English Teachers in Korea aren't American.
Whether Stormfront is worse than AES, I wouldn't have a clue, but trying to spread rumours foreigners are part of a conspiracy to infect the population, is bad enough, regardless of how they measure up to other hate groups. |

Xingyiman is an American. His own government allows an extreme white supremacist group to host an internet site within the border of its country.
The point is if, in the name of free speech, the US government will not close down a website like stormfont.org, then it's hypocritical of Americans to demand the Korean government does the same for the AES.

Yeah, but do you think YAHOO! would host stormfront??? C'mon, man...get with it. The point is not that the site exists, it's that it exists on the country's most popular and visted portal site in clear violation of their terms of use. |

So if it was changed to aes.co.kr, nobody here would have a problem with it? I highly doubt that. I think we would still being seeing these same kind of threads calling for it to be shut down. If it violates the TOS of Naver then fair enough it should be removed from there but many here seem to want it to be closed down completely. |

Most Americans I know look on that site and its founders with scorn. The Korean government, on the other hand, invites the chairman of AES to policy meetings and proffers up the false statistics provided by AES.

Gee, I don't see stormfront members going around encouraging stalking--at least I've never heard of it. At any rate, false accusations of criminal activity are not protected as free speech. Not even in Korea or the United States. |
