Shim Tapas sounds pretty good actually... Couldn't navigate that map tho.
Can anyone give some info on the place, food, location to any major land marks/subway stations, etc... thanks for all the info..! |
Walk out exit 4, go right, keep going until that street T's up with the samgyeopsal street. Go left on the SGS street, make the first right. You'll be on a street with cafes and art galleries. Take the second left. It says "three sisters tapas" too I think.
BTW If you click on the "지도" in the upper right part of that map it becomes much easier to read. |

Shim's Tapas is a great little joint. A bit out of the way but they've been around for a couple of years so I guess they have a solid customer base.
Bulia, the best Chinese hotpot restaurant in Korea, can be found about 100m from Exit 1 of Hongik St. Take a right down the side street and there are two of them facing each other on that street.
I'll warn you, though...it's addictive.

Agios is near the park and Zen but I'm not sure exactly, I think it's on a street going from the park towards Tin Pan, not the main street but a side one. Hard to explain.
I found two Hot Pot places in Hongdae, posted here:

Agio's is quite nice. Big wood-oven pizzas and good quality German beer. All a bit pricey though.
Must admit to not being too impressed with Dos Tacos, however that might be because I'm a veggie and the potato burrito there is more like a salad wrap. Chao's in Sinchon is the better veggie option I reckon. |
I tried Agio's. Can't say the pasta was very good (at all, actually). The pizza was decent. Divino, on the other hand, was great. A little skimpy on the pasta portions (great pasta, though), but the pizza was right on the money both taste AND price-wise. |
