I shouldn't even bother posting this without any hilarious video documentation, but this morning, two moms were fighting in the hallway outside my teacher's lounge.

It was so weird. I've never seen anything like it!

Some boys were being punished for vandalism, and so the moms were phoned. Apparently, one mom accused another mom of having a bad-influence son, so that mom hit the first mom... then the boy of the mom who got hit started swearing at the violent mom, and a big scrapfest broke out!

One mom kept coming into the teacher's room to hide, but the other mom would open the door to get her. They were doing taekwondo kicks at each other...

A male teacher (rare at my school) came to break it up. No police came. Last I saw, both moms (and a third mom) were coming out of the main teacher's office. They looked calmer.

It was... different.

At my school, in the grade two class, there were two children (boys I think) who were always fighting. When the moms came to pick their children up, the moms started fighting with each other. The older female head teacher had to be called to resolve it. No taekwando moves, though.

That is why you should have a camera on you at all times. I would love to see a martial arts MILF fight.

Whoa whoa who, Loudog, no one used the MILF acronym here!

Last year we had some girls that were cutting class and smoking (and they're probably doing a lot worse now... bad kids) and their mothers were called. The first mother showed up and she started yelling at the other girl, not her daughter, then proceeded to start beating her! Then the second mother showed up, she proceeded to beat on her daughter and the first mother took over on her own daughter. If you think your coteachers hit kids hard, these mothers were heavyweights! These girls were bawling so much, my co teacher finally intervened.

It was rough.

Martial arts - it isn't. 'M' for Mother - it isn't either.

Special - it is .... and JUST for you.

Enjoy ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdmlL6NzbJc (work safe)

I'm not actually sure if they were taekwondo moves... the women were aiming kicks at one another's chests, though, which is something you don't see in the west!

So the mother of the "bad-influence" son threw the first punch?
I guess her accusation wasn't that far off the mark.

I know! What a bad mom.

All the kids could see the fight. What a bad example for them all.

Actually, I think the fight's kind of lightened the mood for everybody. The teachers are giggling about it, and I think the kids were, too. (Except for the kids involved... I'm mortified for their sakes).

At least twice a week Koreans fight outside my apartment. They don't fist fight, they just yell really loud. Korean apartment walls are practically paper, so it's like they are fighting in my building. Last time they did, I just yelled out the window for them to shut the eff up. For some reason whenever Koreans like to fight, they prefer to do it on the street after 12...

Maybe kids took videos.

At lunch time, some teachers asked me if there were video cameras in Canadian schools. I said I couldn't remember my school days, but there probably are... I also said that the cops would definitely have been called.
