Hey,

My girlfriend and I are thinking of going to Daegu this weekend. Just wondering is there much to do in Daegu? Sights, landmarks etc? Just can't find a lot of info on Daegu.

Seeing that this post has had 28 views and not 1 single suggestion, My conclusion is this:

Don't go to Daegu!

I've lived in Daegu for almost two years and I can tell you there's nothing to do here... Except maybe climbing Palgongsan, but not in winter.

Daegu's a nice place to live (centrally located; big city amenities, small town feel; decent hiking nearby; cool hangouts), but kind of dull to visit. I'd go to Gyeongju, about an hour more travel and MANY awesome things to do/see. Or to Haeinsa--a cool temple a couple hours bus ride away.
