I've decided to do Thanksgiving Dinner this year and got me a 17 lb turkey from Costco yesterday!
Does anyone know where I can get an oven turkey bag??? The place I'm having the dinner doesn't have an oven so I'll have to cook the turkey somewhere else and I don't have time to sit by the oven to baste the turkey.....this little bag would help out a lot!! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! |

I'd suggest a clean black garbage bag. No bags found at Homeplus could fit a 17 pounder with room to spare. |

Hey all... i'm looking for a turkey about 5-6kg. I don't have the size of oven to fit in a huge turkey. This is the oven I got. If anyone who has this oven can tell me how big of a turkey I can fit in.
Note: I went to homeplus and they only have 7kg turkeys and there is no way I can fit the bird in my oven. I'm thinking 5-6 kg?

Come on people - you are going to need to be creative with this one. Last weekend I hosted a Thanksgiving party. I bought my turkey from Costco - so it was 17lbs. I had to break it into 3 different sections. I cooked each section separately. Didn't have an oven bag - for things like that you need to plan ahead. Good luck! |
