I haven't seen anything on this board about this, but if you haven't heard, here is the WSJ on hackers who broke into the main climate research unit and exposed the lies behind man-made global warming. This link also lets you download the documents and emails that have been hacked. The scientists and the university where the CRU is located, have admitted that the emails and documents ARE theirs.

Scientists' Leaked Correspondence Illustrates Bitter Feud over Global Warming

I saw this --- its incredible how researchers from the IPCC fudged data and colluded to make fudged "peer reviewed" studies to con people into the myth of man made global warming, they also had connections to the NY times and fudged the official global temp scale.
the idea of a consensus among scientist is BS too, all over the world scientists are speaking out agianst the man made global warming myth.
Hopefully this will be able to stop the carbon bills and the carbon taxing that they are trying to get the world to submit too.
Al Gore is terrible person. He would have gotten so much richer if he and his club of rome buddies were able to push this through- not to mention the stranglehold government's would have over us , monitoring and limiting our CO2 output- example: oh you want ti fly to KoreA?- im sorry you have used up your existing carbon credits, if you wish to fly, it will cost ten times the price. |

Yes, well, the mainstream media needs to pick this up FAST, before the conference in Copenhagen early next month! As Ban Ki Moon said in his NYT editorial, the conference in Copenhagen is designed to put into place a world-wide carbon tax and a world governing body to enforce it.
I read the 200-page Copenhagen document. You can download it from the Net. One part in particular was interesting. It said that "the lack of scientific evidence should not be a reason to not move forward toward the goal of a world-wide carbon tax." WHAT????
The rest of the 200 pages are equally vomit-worthy..... |

It's sad, but some people in power want to tax us to the hilt and bring back Feudalism and slavery. As The Who put it at the very end of their awesome rock opera Tommy:
We're not gonna take it!! |

Yeah, well, apparently we ARE going to continue to "Take it."
In my night class my students have been researching this whole global warming issue and the Copenhagen conference. After painstakingly going through the 200-page document one of my students actually wrote to the Korean government regarding NOT signing the treaty. He got a reply!
In the reply the government person said that "Yes, the government is going to sign on to the treaty." And "Yes, we are aware that man-made global warming is a scam." But "We need to get away from fosil fuels and we think this is the best way to do it."
When my student finished reading the two-page letter to the rest of the students (in Korean) there was total silence for a good 2 minutes. The the outrage erupted.
I think my student should post that letter on the Net, but he would probably get into a world of trouble, so I didn't mention that thought to him. |

As a geologist I was privy to a lot of the "inside" workings of professors and climatologists who had anything to do with or opinions on global warming. Up until just recently there was a strong majority of researchers who had serious questions about the validity of man made global warming theories but who were afriad to say anything because of the emotional witch hunt by leftists groups (most of which who were not scientists)who could do things like influence the right people to have departmental funding cut, etc..... I knew evenually the rebellion would ensue as soon as there were enough scientists who were afraid of being able to actually call themselves scientists in the future realized what was at stake and began challenging the others. |

Regardless of the warming effects, isn't it a good idea to push people away from burning fossil fuels? |

By forming a world government and funding it with a world-wide carbon tax? Yeah, that works! Welcome to feudalism. |

I never believed that GW is all man-made. We definitely don't help the situation, but there is not enough data to prove it is all humans - they only started recording data from the north/south poles in the 70s - so how do we know that the ice caps are melting more than they ever have done?
It is also a bit ridiculous that in the history of the world, humans, who are only on the planet for a fraction of the earth's history, can make such a deep impact in such a short amount of time. Humans think they have so much power, but the earth will do what it wants, as it has done for billions of years. I guess we just want to work out why all the flooding etc is happening.
I even heard a scientist suggest that an earthquake might have been caused by global warming. I thought I'd heard it all up until that point!!!! |

This never would have happened while George Bush was president. Or... should I say... it would have happened, but it would have been blamed on him and called a right-wing conspiracy. |
