Back in Canada I had a relationship with a girl who was into all that crap.
It was worth playing along just for the sex.
I'll add more to it.
meditation( flitting with Buddhism talking about Karma)
Vegetarianism
Outdoor folk music festivals with lots of hippie friends.
Talking about positive and negative energy.
Talking about a persons "Aura".
Hanging out with lots of amataur artists who are thrifty with their materials
Lots of unstreached crap on canvas really watery and weak. Saving money to buy dope. |

Generally no. Although, I'm sure somewhere in the back of my mind, I still believe in chi and that when I die, I'll be able to travel back in time throughout my own life in a quantum leap/groundhog day fashion and be able to score with women I hadn't scored with or amaze my teachers as a first grader who understands classic literature, biology and various other subjects. |

Two of my classmates had a Humantities 'Yoga' teacher like that back in Cegep/College. Apparently she was quite the character. She believed that humans can survive like plants. I.E Just water and sunlight. Not even veggies (Though I'm sure she at least ate those). Either way, hunger is supposed to be a state of mind.
She also took them on a field trip to the local graveyard to accept death when the time comes and that probably 'half of this class will die in their mid 20s".
Apparently the actual Yoga part of this class was rather relaxing though.
I know a few people with hippie trait, but not a full out hippie. Not really my kind of thing, but you know. They seem to enjoy it. Plus, I enjoy having my fortune read from time to time or just hearing a really messed up story. |

I enjoy reading tarot cards. I find that tarot cards can help provide answers to life's tough questions, in the same way that flipping a coin does. Meaning, you will wish for the cards to read a certain way, and once you recognize that you can discover what you really want. They can also inspire creative ideas when you're in a rut. Commence bashing:) |

I really think the world would have been much better off had the "hippies" stayed in the 70's where they belonged. |

let's start bashing religion guys!
bowing to and feeding dead relatives? eating the flesh of god? expecting lions to one day eat grain?
seriously, hippies are no more strange in their beliefs and practices than the majority of humankind.
why the need to diss them? (another Koreans-don't-like-long-hair-on-men inspired thread? ) |

Sympathy will not be tolerated in a hippie bash session.
Now someone tell me again where the crystals go? In my _________ ? |

Nah, I just have a natural aversion to people who smell too much like nature and whose eyes are seemingly rolled back into their heads most of the time. |
