Hi guys,
I was offered a job with Scotia Personnel Ltd just a few days ago...they booked a nice hotel room in Toronto and seemed very legitimate, but their website makes me skeptical. Has anyone gone through them before?
Also, do private schools pay more? Scotia offered me 2.0-2.1 million Won in a private environment, but I see that public schools offers the same amount...is there any point going to private school in that case? I would like to have more vacation days, a lower chance of being fired, and a nice apartment.
If I want a modern apartment, would you recommend I go through a private school or through a public one? I would think private schools take better care of you, but government schools could have some sort of arrangement to pub teachers into new apartments because they hire so many teachers. Any thoughts? Experiences? |

Public and Private have good ones and bad ones. There are some great Private schools with great facilities and great housing, but there are some horrible ones as well. There are some public schools with great teachers and co-teachers, positive environments, that give you a good housing allowance or a great apartment, but then there are some bad ones as well. From my experience in Korea, Public schools are less likely to have problems and you get significantly longer vacations, but that is not to say that all public schools are wonderful...just look at all the threads in here about them
Good luck...it can be a crap-shoot unless you specifically know what to look for... |
