I hear there is one in Seoul

Anyone know the directions?

and is the... "eating environment" Laughing what I should expect from a Hooters?

by the way, do most Koreans know why Hooters is famous? Just wondering if my wife will know the reason I'm asking we have dinner at Hooters.

Apgujeung. Right around the corner from Hyundai department store. Expect it to be half dead inside and none of the goodies you really wanted.

There's also one in Gangnam. Gangnam station, exit 3, walk straight for about two blocks and it's on the 2nd or 3rd floor of a corner building.

They're pretty lame in Korea. In case you haven't noticed, this country doesn't have many "hooters".

I remember my first time at hooters...

The first time I went to hooters was with my family. My family is kind of stupid as hell. My dad choose the place, naturally, and we went in. Mother, brother, sister and all. Frankly, my dad had no idea what the place was. We were in Hawaii and we just needed to get a bite to eat. After a while I began to notice a pattern with the waitresses there. I was 14 at the time so my visualization skills were developing. Things started to get... clearer... and frankly more bigger. The waitresses didn't seem fazed by the fact that a family was there. I guess there are enough stupid tourists like us who have no idea what kind of DEN OF EVIL it was.

anyways, it was great, I really enjoyed my hot dogs. Best tasting hot dogs I ever had.

Yeah, while the food might be better at the real Hooters, I usually go for the local Hooters knock-offs instead--the Hofs with the hot waitresses in short skirts and midriff-baring tops, who pour your beers and flirt with you. They're all over--there's one near my work called "Beer Leader" and another called "Bubblecats," they're great for an after-work outing with the guys.

I think these places are the reason Hooters isn't too successful in Korea. The ajosshis already have their own native version of the same concept, and they consider it superior to Hooters. Probably a lot cheaper too.

theres also one in Yongsan. Go across the covered walkway from the station to the electronics market (across the tracks) and look out to your right you should see the Hooters sign. It's down in a basement. Pretty small, but when we went in June for a stag night it was brand new, the girls did some dancing but they were still learning. The food was decent and they had sports on the big TV's.

The one in yongsan is the ugly stepsister of the gangnam/apgujeong ones, but hey, it's still better than a chicken hof.

i went to the one in gangnam and it was cool, better than the only other hooters i went to at least (paramus, nj like 5 yrs ago). when we walked in the chicks were super energetic and took each of our hands and leds us to our table. they all were super enthralled with my hoodie, so i let the one girl try it on and she ran around with it on for like 5 mins pretending to be a rapper or something lol.

when shorty came back with my hoodie, she started feeling on my biceps and slapped a "i <3 hooters" on it.

the wings were alright and the girls were cute but most of the girls were fresh out of high school which explained a lot of their behavior (our waitress was 19, korean age). all in all though, hooters was a good time, as i said the girls aren't hard on the eyes but they're not the standard big-tittied blonds that are back stateside.

I like it. The Hooters wings taste just like back home. I like to get the 3 mile Island, half naked, half breaded. The service sucks, but since there is no tipping, I don't see any incentive for the waitstaff to give any effort.
