Buses - look at the subway map. Big marts are in short supply. Cheonho, Yangjae has Emart. Yangjae also has Costco. Guro digital complex has Homeplus and Lotte Mart. |

Those are kind of far....anything within the immediate neighboring subway stops of Sadang? |

Various little korean supermarkets. There's a Homeplus Express by Namseong station and it is easy to take a bus to Emart or a bigger Homeplus, depending which way you want to go. There's Lotte dept store in Gwanak or Sinsaegae at the bus terminal. You can pull off living with a combination of those and the little ones. |

There is a large grocery store on the same side of the street at TGI Fridays and Outback. When you are walking up that street from Outback take a left. Go in and take a right at the next street. It is just before the next blcok on your right. You go down into the basement.
I know of another grocery store on the opposite side of the street from Outback. Essentially walk past Outback (on the opposite side of the street) until the lights, take a right and walk the side street. It is on the righthand side.
Buses: where do you want to go and where do you live around the station? Be a bit more exact and I can help you out more. I lived near Outback, so I am more familiar with that side and buses that take you to Kangnam or to Seoul National University and beyond. Also the buses that go to Suwon, Anyang, Kwacheon etc.
Gym: Only small gyms in the area that I could find. Just walk the streets and go in and check out if it is the gym for you. I used to use the one down the street from the second grocery store I mentioned. It is about a 5min walk down that side street on the 2nd floor of a building on the left side. There is a convenience store on the 1st floor.
Anyways, any other questions I lived in the area for years so I know a few things about it. |

Gyms--
* There is a small one behind where TGIF used to be. If you walk out of the back of the TGIF building it's on the street perpendicular to the main back street (maybe 50m) on the right.
* There is a health club (swimming pool, squash, golf, cardio/weights) in the Le Meilleur (sp?) building (exit 14, just past 7-11)--very expensive though.
* There is a 24hr gym just past exit 4 at Nakseongdae (1 stop west on the green (2) line; about 10-15 mins walking from Sadang St. and it's 24hrs.
* Another 24hr gym just past Isu/Chingshin Univ. (1 stop North of Sadang)--If you are walking FROM Sadang TO Isu, it's on your left, 3rd floor near a LG store I believe).
Bus--They just added one of those lanes where the buses stop and pick-up/drop-off near Isu. I haven't used it, but a lot seem to pass through there, so could be a good bet.
Hope that helps. |

for gyms, go out exit 6 (namhyun dong) at sadang station. Take the first left, then the first right, and the first left, and there is a wedding hall type thing with a nice small gym (cheap) in the basement, which has a sauna.
There is a gym on the main stretch of Sadang near the Dana Veterinary Hospital (the road that has KB Bank, and the car dealership). it is also a wedding hall. The gym is in the basement.
There is an M-mart (smaller grocery store) over by bbang geom teo. Again, exit 6, and walk straight for a couple blocks, past the woori bank, and you will run into the bbang goom teo there. There aren't any big grocery stores. The closest is in Yangjae.
The busses are right by the subway exits. justwalk around a little bit. |

Hi, there - How do you get to the Homeplus from Guro Digital Complex? Which exit do I take? I'm just one stop away from that area. Thanks! |

Exit 1 then catch 5534, 5531 going towards Geumcheon woo chae guk - the post office. Or walk for about 10-15 mins. |

Lotte Mart opened on the north west corner 6 months ago. not big, but it does.
Gyms are everwhere. Look on the second or third floor of buildings. Badmnton at Sadang elementary school.
Buses. You've seen the millions of big green, orange and blue things that congest Sadang station 24/7? They are buses..... |
