This is Eddie.

We decided to climb a mountain and enjoy the Fall foliage. On our way down we encountered an older man selling birds in cages. Under the cages was a small, dirty dog tied with a red ribbon. He was so adorable and so happy to see us it broke my heart. I was in tears when we drove away, so we decided to go back and rescue him. So far he seems to be a wonderful little puppy! Unfortunately we have an 18 month old son and we cannot give Eddie the care and attention he needs. We are treating him for heartworms and he has had his first vaccinations. He has food, treats, toys, a cage, pee pads, leash/harness and blankets. He poops outside, pees on the pee pad 95% of the time(still learning, he is a puppy). He walks on the leash well, comes to his name, and barks only when new people come over and he wants to inspect them. He sleeps in his cage at night, and is happy to play in it while you are out. He may bark for around 2-5 min the first few days you leave him home alone, but he quickly stopped with us and only barks if we come home and don't take him out for a bathroom break ASAP.
Great little dog, mixed breed, vet says around 2-3months old.
PLEASE help us find a good home, he has 14 days before the shelter will put him down but as he is de-worming he is at the vet's for a week and then the shelter. We hope someone can give him a good home!

We are in Bucheon, Songnae station Line #1 (Dark Blue line).
He is a great, smart dog but no idea of breeds as he was a rescue. All I know is he is small, possibly will grow more but not much more the vet thinks.
Worms are the only problem, he has to take medicine for a month but worms are coming out now, will last 1 week the vet said, so he can't be around our son. Plus, our nanny hates him and we can't lose her. Crying or Very sad

He is cute and he is super affectionate. Everyone who meets him loves him, except for my nanny and MIL. Unfortunately I need both of those women to care for my son while I work and I hope to find Eddie a good home. Hubby promises me if I don't find a home in 2 weeks he will take him back so that he is not put down. It is breaking my heart and my poor son is so confused as to where Eddie is now. But I hope we can find a good home soon.
It is so hard to go against cultural beliefs at times here but at least this is the first issue we've had.
He will be de-wormed and has had his first vaccinations. He comes with anything you need to start, and he is so loving!

How does he look like a barker??
As I said he barked when we left the first few times, never for more than 2-5 minutes. We timed and listened as we were worried about the neighbours. He only barked after that if someone came into our home and did not immediately introduce themselves to him. Once he was able to sniff, chew and tumble with the new person, he was more than happy to be quiet and if we had to put him in his cage for over excited behaviour, he was content.
He is really a good dog that I would be happy to keep if I did not have so many people against me. We're trying to find him a home amongst people we know, not just here, but I thought perhaps someone would appreciate him from this site. He is a very loving and intelligent dog.

Also, it may help to post on the website www.animalrescuekorea.org

There are lots of animal lovers on there, and a section for posting ads looking to find good homes for animals.

Good luck!

so let me understand correctly. By rescuing, you mean, you took him from a place where he was alive and living, having no death date on him, and took him to a kill shelter, where he may be killed in 14 days... How is this rescuing?

Don't mean to be rude, but why not take him to a non-kill shelter, or check out animal rescue korea.
