Anyone come to Korea taking a regular medication?
Is it pretty easy getting prescriptions written and/or filled? |

The best plan for you would be to bring as much meds with you as possible. Tell your doctor that you will be leaving the country.
Korea may have the same medicines or it may not. It may be the same type but a different brand.
Pharmaceuticals are generally cheap here, but that may not apply to all meds. It is fairly easy to get prescriptions filled here. But you will need to see a Korean doctor first. |

I had no problem getting a prescription re-filled here. I walked into a hospital and handed the general doctor my old bottle. He asked me if I knew what the drug was for and I told him. (I think it was to make sure I wasn't fraudulantly asking for drugs?) Then he wrote me a prescription and I went on my merry way.
Also, the drugs were way cheaper here! I didn't have prescription coverage at home, but my bill went from $100 to W14,000 |
