Does anyone know how to get to Shinsaibashi (Embassy area) from Narita Airport? I am taking an afternoon flight, and it doesn't go to Kansai - all the directions from this site start at Kansai.

If anyone can post some directions from Narita to the Embassy, I'd REALLY appreciate it!

Thanks!

Narita airport is near TOKYO, not Osaka!!! And other posters have mentioned that you cannot get a visa in one day in Tokyo.
Tokyo-Osaka is about 3hrs by bullet train, plus 1 hr to get from Narita to Tokyo first.

I'm confused -- Where are you going? In the title, you said you want to do a visa run in Osaka, but then in your post, you're talking about going to the "Embassy area" and wanting directions to the "Embassy". The Korean Embassy is in Tokyo (all embassies in Japan are in Tokyo; all diplomatic missions in other cities are called consulates). And, as peppergirl already said, Narita airport is near Tokyo also. My advice: If you were thinking about Osaka - forget Osaka. Arrange instead to do your visa stuff at the embassy in Tokyo, if that's where you are flying to.

From Narita airport, you should get the train to Ueno, and take another train down to Ginza, then jump on the subway to Roppongi. The Korean Embassy isn't too far from there.

Sorry guys, my travel agent lost her mind for a second. She was making reservations for Osaka and called the airport Narita instead of Kansai.
At least now I know that Narita is Tokyo Smile

Reminds me of a travel agent in Japan I had... I wanted to book a ticket to Seoul and that's what I told her, that I needed 'a ticket to Seoul, well, Incheon' and she goes ' you want to go to Incheon or to Seoul?' Shocked
