I've got my tree up and decorated and christmas music playing. It is the day after thanksgiving after all. The official beginning of holiday season. Anyone else getting a jump on the holidays?

This being Dave's and all clicked on the link with a suspicion that this thread was about feminine grooming habits. I'm actually a little disappointed. Crying or Very sad

I was a Scrooge back home and I'm a slightly nostalgic Scrooge back here. Now that I know I have family I care about moving here before Xmas who will likely create a Christmas atmosphere in their home, I am extremely not inclined to trim a tree.

It's nice not seeing a Santa every 12 paces.

My Mom never let us play Christmas records (back in the day) until the day after Thanksgiving. ....sigh...

I have a plastic tree, but now I'm in a really small place...with 3 cats...so the tree will stay in hiding this year.

Sad

I thought you weren't supposed to have any christmas decorations up until after the first Advent Sunday, which is tomorrow?

My tree never quite got put away last year- it's a tiny little thing, about three feet high, so I just took the decorations off, and tucked it behind an arm chair. I'll pull it out again in a couple of weeks I guess.

My little tree came with my apartment, along with enough decorations for a full sized tree. Now the tree is barely visible. It's more like a blinking, colorful wad of lights.

i've had my tree up for a week Very Happy and today i finally found lights for it, for some reason everything but lights had been available and today i went back to the store and found all sorts of christmas lights stocked Smile

i also have a tiny tree- maybe 2 1/2 feet to 3 feet tall....go check your local homeplus, most of them seem to be selling the trees in all sizes (and colors- pink or black christmas tree anyone??). i got mine there...they also have a variety of garlands, decorations and tree decorations....

my apartment looks so nice and ready for christmas- the lights are long enough to go around the window frame and then onto the tree so its looking quite festive...i've got the christmas music downloaded and i'm sure it'll start in my playlists in a week or so Smile

After TJ's comment, I just don't know how to respond to this. Laughing
