Can people talk about general trends and personal anecdotes, and about your school?

Are things slowing down for you at work?

How bad are things in RoK?

Thanks in Advance.

Not bad over here. It is helping to weed out the badly run businesses mostly.

My school has been doing pretty well, because we keep getting the students from other hagwons that close in the area.

How about employment?

TIA.

That's what they want you to believe (serves to keep wages stagnant and the trouble makers 'in line'). There has been an increase in the number of applicants, however there has also been an (almost) corresponding number of openings. It's to the Ks' & recruiters' advantage to play it for all it's worth.

In essence, they've become more selective. Immi regs. guarantee they can never fill all the openings.

They're not stupid... they create demand when needed and reduce supply when needed. External (To K-land) influence just has 'Mr. Kim' rubbing his hands together. Wink
