| Glenn Anderson is gay. It was widely known that Anderson was gay in Edmonton during the dynasty. The dynasty was in the 80's, so the NHL at least is fine with gay players. |
Adam Oates - same era. |
I've just heard about Oates recently.
Back in the day it was almost common knowledge that Stephane Richer was gay.
And who could forget all those Wendle Clark rumours. |

All pro sports seem pretty gay to me. All the big muscular sweaty men running around without any women, slapping each other on the butts and showering together.
I think the question should be, is pro sports ready for its athletes to come out of the closet? |
I think it's unfair to characterize this behavior as gay. The idea that men expressing comraderie with one another through physical gestures is gay is the result of extreme anti-homosexual thinking. |
I dont care if people are gay, I'm just saying it all seems pretty gay. You dont have to be so defensive, I am not judging you fox. |

Fox can't take jokes about gays. Just don't mention it if you don't want to talk to him. He's too wrapped up in his politics. (And for the record I DIDN"T mention religion or Christianity in this posting). |

There was an aussi rugby league player in the nineties who was openly gay (blonde fella- any antipodeans care to help me out with a name?)
aaanyway the curious thing was that he was an 'enforcer' or extremely rough tackler - a total hard man, brought onto the field to fvck people up. I think gender studies kinda people call this hypermasculinity. |

| They may get hot and bothered and their blood will get pumping in the locker room, which means they may put in more effort and have more energy. I say go with it! |
