I lived there for 6. Does that make me six times as special as you are? Cool

I make the most wicked cabbage rolls. Very Happy

Sure it's a Hungarian family recipe but a couple of Ukrainians I've served them to asked for seconds and one for thirds, both raving about 'em.

I'm not certain, I think you may have been born there whereas I choose to live there. Ya lubya Ukraine.

I've been all over, except for the Cossack Island, Izmail, Mariopol and Kerch.

Ya lubya pivo. Ya lubya devushka!

This is just a stab in the dark, but that last word looks like the Russian word for women. So, you are saying that you love the Ukrainian women?

Yes, they are quite nice. I am lucky to have been here. There is a heavy handed beauty culture here and I am almost strong enough to handle the fact I can't have all of them. I haven't figured out if walking downtown at 6 PM is heaven or torment yet.

Guilty as charged, but I'm considering coming back to teach English there. Did teaching in Korea help you land a better gig? And where do you teach, assuming that's what you're doing there?

Hi vitald,

I think your name is Vitaly. Thats not an American name like Tom or Dick or Bob.

I'm retired, I get a government check for being very slightly mentally disturbed and I have an unsuccessful online business. I think next week I'll try to a healthcare recruiter. I made some money by writing, just like Shevchenko.

There are some teaching gigs here but again, they are a scam like everywhere else. I'm kind of tired of it. People need jobs, not a vague promise for a better life. You can get English speaking college grads here for $1.00 an hour. I don't think they need anymore ESL lessons.

Lviv is really wholesome, its like Mayberry RFD except with Slavs. Odessa has lots of action esp on Deribovaskaya, if you want action. The Russians are very sensitive, say nothing bad about Russia. Sebastopol is really nice. There are lots of things to do in Kyiv. Ukraine is pretty drug free. Zaporzhy has some really hostile people in it. Karkiv? I didn't spend much time there. Poltava either. I've been to the Castles in KP. The train stations have sleeping rooms for rent, so you can travel and stay at the station. Uzgorod station-rooms are luxurious for $10.00 a night. I go to just to watch TV for a few days. Arcadia in the summer is paradise. If you spend a night there, you'll find out that bombing the Russians is a really stupid act. I can go to Vet school here for $4,000 a year. I can't always tell the difference between the Russians and the Ukies, I get tired of having to smooch butt over the matter. One night in Odessa, I met some Aryan looking russians pimping out brown eyed Ukie girls. I think that may be the difference. They really love carp here. I did the coast ride from Yalta to Balaclava and I visited the Valley of Death. The people can't afford cafes so they drink on the park benches. The pivos are about 75 cents. The food is very good but in my opinion, the Poles make the best food in Europe. You can get a ferry to Turkey from Odessa about $80.00. On the weekends, the Ukies shut down main street so the families walk around and hold hands and eat ice cream and play with balloons. I been to Moldova twice. I'll go back. They do a great job with black hair.

That enough? You can teach here, but they want a CELTA.
