Hey! My 2 friends and I have just signed a contract with LCI Kids Club in central Seoul (Yoksam-dong, Kangnam-gu). We will be headin' East in February! Any suggestions? Anything crucial we should know about this school? Apparently this is the headquarters and it is pretty intense. I just want to make sure we are not going to have a miserable year in Korea! Thanks for your help! |

To preface, I haven't worked at LCI, but have been in Korea for 2 years.
If they say it will be "intense", it will be. If that is what you like, then ok. Expect a lot of classroom observations (which I hate) and a lot of feedback/advice/criticism from the staff there. You are supposed to be the "model" and they will do their damnest to mould you into that. You should also expect to do a lot of training of other newbs once you have been there for a few months.
Not my cup of tea, but you may like it. |
