End of sex appeal?? I think not.

I've been laying more pipe since I went bald than I ever did as a hairy guy!

Seriously, tons of women love the chrome dome, and I've even converted a few over the years.

Going bald is in no way connected to losing your sex appeal.Women like a CONFIDENT,good natured guy.The rest of it is secondary.

I noticed that I was losing my hair at around 23. It was especially bad for me, because at that age, I looked about 16. Since I was ultra skinny, too, I looked like I was undergoing chemo. It could have been worse, I suppose. I could have been, er, undergoing chemo.

And I hate to break it to some of you, but Rogaine isn't that good. The package mentions that it only show some results on the back of your head. It doesn't help if your losing hair in front. Plus, expect some massive itching. There's so much alcohol in that, I'd wake up in the middle of the night, scratching my head.

I'm 36 now, and I learned to focus on other areas to make me as attractive as I can - exercise, dressing nicely, etc. (Actually, that's good advice for anyone.) For the most part, I've learned to accept my baldness, but once in a while, someone in Korea will make a comment about it that will bother me.

Here's my advice; take it or leave it. If you're going bald . . .

1. Shave it maybe twice a week. I prefer clippers so that there's a little stubble. I've not fond of the smooth head look, but it works for some people, I guess.

2. If you're white, buy some tanning cream to give your head a little color.

3. Before you go out, apply some baby powder to your head. It helps a little with getting rid of the shine.

Has any guy here ever worn a piece, or considered wearing one?

Nope. Why would I consider it when shaving it off instead is cheaper and looks better?

Some fellas (and gals) might look pretty good with a shaved melon, real or not.

Some guys might just want to skip it, though.

Sometimes it just adds to the stereotypes...

...and sometimes you just flat-out have fun with it.
