Hi, my partner and I want to stay in a swanky love motel in Seoul on Christmas, but I've heard that it's a "couple's holiday" and am wondering if it will be impossible to get a room. Anyone have experience from previous years?

It shouldn't be hard to find one. There are tons of them here.

There are motel sites you can check out for prices, pics, etc. They also might have coupons you can print out for discounts.

Can you navigate Korean-language sites? If so, try these directories:

If you want a great love motel - stay at the Hotel Doro in Itaewon. The beds are awesome and the bathrooms make me never want to leave! Its 66000 a night. Very hidden and very romantic

I was thinking the same thing. Anyone know of a nice one with a hot tub or large bathtub?

Sadang exit 5 leads to a street with a line of very modern glitzy swanky love motels for like 70K to 80K per night just off of a restaurant/bar street where they specialize in Western beer such as WA bar. This area is a small neon lit entertainment district next to the subway station for Koreans to drink western beer. Some rooms have jacoozis and all fancy marble styling in that they are like miniature 5 star hotels and others are not so fancy, but all are very modern with a huge HDTV and a PC. I prefer the Venice motel, but it sells out too quick on weekends.

Doksan Stn Line one, try the Windsor Hotel (opposite the Novotel). Big jacuzzi bath, big screen TV and PC, lovely beds. Ask a cab driver to take you to 'Doksan Novotel.' W70,000
