"Derro"
| Quote: |
| Australian slang, derived from the word 'derelict'. Means hobo, bum, no-hoper, poorly-dressed, unke(m)pt person. |
International equivalents : Chav, 'gangsta', Adelay, Lad, Bum (US)

Doesn't describe Canadians at all! I've never heard of 'poutine'. Has to be 'moose' or 'beaver'. |

Considering most Koreans think we are American, I am hardly offended. In fact, I would agree that we are basically the same as Americans. Not much difference in my opinion. |

I think it's funny you spelt derogatory wrong, perhaps this is more cause for concern with respect to job security
I also think this is another throwback of American (you are, aren't you? ) thinking to fault others instead of taking responsibility for all the cutbacks (American inititated global crisis) that have sent North Americans out here in droves. This may or may not be a setback for yourself in the future, but if it is consider it a payback. Sorry to fireback while you're lamenting the drawback of this current situation, simply trying to give you some feedback about yet another playback/flashback of American economic backlash. (now I couldn't use lashback, could I?).
PS: If you're not American, consider all the above a takeback. |
Do you mean north American or south American? Its all America over there. From Alaska and Canada, to Chile and Argentina, its all Americas. |
First of all, dimwit, where do you think the OP comes from? Do you need help with that one? Hmmm, native English speaker from da Americas huh? Could dat be da USA n Canider? Da OP say dang dem Caniders, huh, guess it mustbeing only US peoples.
Second, you missed Central America Einstein.
Third, guess your education didn't include learning some basic things about other countries: Canadian, American, Chilean, Argentinian..... |
Maybe he was talking about Belize whose official language is English. Also, Central America is a part of North America. |
So, you think he may have meant that the 'American initiated global crisis' was referring to the Belizians? Because that's from the quote he responded to. My subsequent point (#1) was to simply point out that there are only 2 possibilities in NA that are permitted here. Point number 2 is to delineate recognized English-speaking in NA from the remainder, which is Central America. And of course, Belize isn't one of the 7 accepted countries here. Obviously, he wasn't thinking it through in the context of the conversation here, and simply made a jab, perhaps not even seriously...who knows. At any rate, your 'support' is even more desperate considering it has just been spelt out for him, you and other dullards that want a desperation shot. |

I lived in Erie, PA for awhile so there are a lot of Canucks there. Anyways I heard a lot of odd names for them.
Mooseheads
Leafs
Little Brothers
Milkbags
I'll have to think of more, it's been awhile. |

Yes, I am sure he meant Belize was the cause of the financial crisis. My god, how can people be so thick?
You need to relax guy, it was a joke. |

So your response:

I fail to see how your first response relates in any way to what you are positing now. As I've already mentioned above, I've given him the benefit of the doubt, just a jab..whatever...I'd also have given you the same perhaps with the first line...the 'also' part speaks loudly enough and any wingnut can understand that you're actually trying to be pedantic. Now that it's spelt out for you yet again, you finally see the light. Yet you don't have the fortitude to admit it, or at least simply ignore it. So you pretend you knew all along, do ur dumbass eyeroll and then mention thickness. Yes, you certainly are at that. Now, back in my relax mode. |

While I don't agree with anything you just said, that was outstanding. |

You're a bit slow on the uptake, aren't you? Are you by any chance from Montreal? |
