| First, the movie: Paranormal Activity is well worth watching, and this thing was made for a paltry $15,000. Amazing what can be done with a miniscule budget and a solid script. |
Actually I don't think there was much of a script, I think most of the lines were improvised. |

I absolutely loved it. My only complaint is the very very final thing (the monster face). They should've done something different, although I'm not sure what.
|
I've since learned that there is another ending (Micah doesn't get thrown; Katie arrives back in bedroom, with knife, and sits in catatonic state for 16 or more hours; Micah's body discovered - dunno by whom; police arrive and take a few minutes to discover Katie; Katie awakes and is shot by police).
Saw poor quality version on Youtube. |

Critical thinking and logic are like Newtonian physics - excellent tools within certain parameters, and they allow us to smugly think we know it all... for a while. Enjoy it while you can!
I won't argue ghosts with you, since the word practically includes "do NOT exist", "only believed by new age nutters" in the definition.
I'm not willing to rule out all forms of non-physical entities or intelligence, though. And how can we presume to discount someone else's experience? We can only speak for ourselves. Good news though - YOU can believe whatever you want. |

| Whether ghosts do or do not exists, I have no opinion. There are probably more energies out there that will challenge our science beliefs in the future. I did have a childhood friend who lived down the street and his old dad died in the house. The kid, his sister, and their mother started seeing him in the house after that. They moved and became really religious. |

| Before any new age type nutters chime in, let's just clear up one fact. Ghosts do NOT exist. I can't believe how many educated people from advanced nations think this crap is true. |
Prove that ghosts do not exist.
I'm not saying they do exist or not. But can you prove they they do NOT exist? |
I don't know whether they exist or not(strongly suspect not as there is zero evidence) but your argument is pointless. |

Critical thinking should always tell you that you can't know it all. It just gives you a way to make logical approximations.
the only people who think they know it all in terms of death and what happens after are the very religious. I would stress that this doesn;t mean they are smug. My parents are very religious and smug is the last word I would use to describe them. |

Well, it scared me to death. I love these 'found footage' movies - I find them very powerful.
Worst movie of all time? The Exorcist. Or Avatar. |

The exorcist is not the worst movie of all time. You might not like it but that is not the same thing.
Anyone planning to make a horror movie should study the camera work in 'the exorcist'. The acting is also top notch.
i didn't like 'I am Legend' as it lost all the best parts of the book. I don't think movies have to stay faithful to the source material but to lose everything worthy in the book was ridiculous. |

| I don't know if I downloaded and watched the right movie to be honest. Scary? You have got to be freaking kidding me. There wasn't even a single moment in that entire movie that made my spine tingle in the slightest. The acting, oh god the acting. In all honesty this was some of the worst acting I have ever seen. It made the acting in the original Evil Dead look good. In fact, I "believed" the acting in that classic horror even more so, and that is saying something. Shit, if this movie frightened you I recommend you never spend a minute alone in your own home. I've had creepier shit than that happen to me during a windstorm. |

| I watched it in theatres and I thougt it was a good movie. It was worth the 7,500 won, for sure. It wasn't really that scary but just a well done movie. |

could you break down why you think this movie is the worst of all time? It should obviously be terrible in every facet. |
