After this revelation, I'm sure short Korean males will take to suicides in large numbers. If she's not available for them, who would be?

There's a Darwinian conspiracy against shorter men that you would think would have caused short men to have disappeared by now. I always find it humorous that a woman who is short herself will then state she wants a tall man. Best to just cast those women off to be forever single and look for someone who is looking for someone normal.

I think short girls are cute- but I personally won't date a woman under 5'8".

Says on ESPN that she is 5'7" (171 cm) and 275 pounds (124 kg). I'm a small guy (5'8", 150 lbs) and she would crush me, so I see her point.

She's a talented athlete and all, but with those specs she should be happy with any man she can get.

When a girl can bench more than you, there can be no relationship. even if you have never worked out in your life.

Try being over 6'2" and having Korean girls tell you, "you're too big!"

Oh Mr. Jang man will get his wish as the American meat will make them get taller with larger bodies. Before America started corporate farming of growth hormone laden cuts of fat and in places still without access to this cheap quality meat such as Cambodia, adult skulls and skeletons are only young teen age sized with obesity rare and associated with great financial wealth. Yes, when we Americans travel to leaner places, our larger body sizes even if not grossly obese, screams, "privileged rich jet set man who can afford big steaks on a daily basis!"

Are the side effects of being tall worth all the trouble just to be tall? It does require meat and growth hormones to achieve tallness which leads to serious health problems as are common in America. America has the most abundance of this meat, but it's the ultimate ruination of what was a great country and people. Is this what Asian countries want to achieve in their modernizing through Westernization? I think it's time they wake up and smell the roses that the American ideas are not so perfect and great to be frank with people who still have or had ways of life until recently that worked since the beginning a long time ago.

I've dated "strong" women before (granted, none were as strong or as manly looking as "Mr. Jang").
The one thing that was a positive was that- along with strong abs, they had strong (and tight)- well, you know. I mean, they were able to flex that "part" of the body as well and all I can say is whoa, did it make sex interesting!

Also, a strong woman can be your back-up during a bar brawl as they could handle their own in a fight.

I saw her on a Korean television show where she was visiting the Korean section of Los Angeles. Judging from her moustache and deep voice, she has been juicing for too long.

I wrote that the Times is just blowing that comment out of proportion in order to create more controversy and keep that "Misuda" crap alive:

http://briandeutsch.blogspot.com/2009/12/korean-champion-weightlifter-wants-tall.html

She's 5'8" 253 . . . bigger than most Korean guys, so of course she's going to want a relatively tall guy . . . most women do. Just as most guys want to date a woman shorter and sleighter than they are.
