The first thing we need to know is where you live in Seoul. That way we can help you out a little better. I play basketball at Yonsei University sometimes on Saturday. The competition is probably the best you'll find in Seoul because sometimes KBL players come out. There's indoor courts but they usually charge you to get in.

I usually go to 3 spots: Yonsei University, Seoul National University, or Yoeido Park.

Yonsei University is usually fun because at times there are some decent players. Plus there are games going on all the time.

Seoul National University is ok but the players are complainers. They call touch fouls which really irritated me. I got into an argument with one of the players because he got blocked but apparently I touched one of his fingers in the process.

Yoeido park is pretty nice and the players are ok. The problem there is there are no lines on the court so you don't know where the sidelines are. Plus, on some courts, the pavement is a bit bumpy so it ruins the feel of the game.

I'm actually heading to Yonsei University today.
You can hit me up 010-7763-9871 if you're wanting to hoop today. I'll be there around 5-5:30pm.

I just rolled into Seoul last night and I'm looking for pick-up games during the week as well. I'll be here for 3 weeks and I would love to get some games in. I have today to myself so if there is somewhere to play today that would be awesome!

Please send me a email with details on where to go/how much it costs.

Thanks!

Aaron

No offense to the Yonsei crowd, but I tried to go there a bunch of times last year on weekends and wasn't too happy with it. I found Yeouido had much better competition on the one or two good courts (excluding the other 4 courts with weak players). But you're right about the lines being a problem. You always have toddlers, senior citizens, and everyone inbetween strolling through the middle of your game. Never seems to bother the Koreans, but us foreigners look like a-holes when we get mad about it. Never knew about playing inside at Yonsei. Would be interested in the Gangnam games if someone could email me: [email protected]

I just got to Seoul and am definitely looking for some places to play ball or even a league. I have no problem paying a little for a nice court if the action's good. Can anyone hook me up with directions to the courts in gangnam or any other worth while courts. [email protected].

I just got to Seoul about 3 weeks ago and I am looking for a good place or places to play basketball. I live in Hyewha, which is a little north of Dongdaemun on the 4 line. I heard about Yongsei University, Seoul National University, and Yoeido park. What are the best times or days to go? I havent touched a basketball in about a month and I am going crazy. I played in college so good comp would def be a plus
My email is [email protected]
Thanks

Thought I would bump this one. I am moving to Jungnang-gu. Like a previous poster said it is far East, but with the metro it shouldn't be a problem getting there. Are there any pick up games around Jungnang you guys know of ?
