Does anyone know where they moved to? I know they're still in Itaewon, just don't know where.
Thanks |

Yup, that's the one.
For those of you unfamiliar with the area, Haebangchon is a small...ahem, "charming" borough down the street from Itaewon.
Head towards the Noksapyeong end of Itaewon and stay to your right down the hill, past the Lexus dealership, Thunder Burger, Taco/Enchilito, etc.
When you pass "Standing Coffee" (which is fantastic, by the way) there's an underpass to take you across the street. From there hug the wall on your left past the large military gate (follow the kimchi pots) and walk about 200m. |

???? What place are you talking about? Wasn't that ABC pizza before?
Pita Time is okay. It's pretty much subway but with pita bread and higher prices. |

I thought it was a Chinese place. There was a Chinese place in one of those buildings... don't remember which, exactly, because we used to get it delivered... at any rate, my woman called them the other night, and both the lines are dead. So I just figured Pita Time replaced it. Anyway, Subway blows, so I guess I won't be hitting this Pita joint. |

Pita Time was replaced in Itaewon by a Chinese place that was orginally down the street above the Baskin-Robbins
In HBC Pita Time replaced a korean pizza place. btw Cafe Alexandria (which was owned by the guy who owns Ali Babba's in Itaewon) is being turned into something else my money is on another galbi place there have been 2 that have opened on the main hbc drag in the past couple of months |

They actually put a decent amount of meat in the pitas, though. The cuts at Subway here are so thin you can see through them, and barely cover the bread. |

Can I get something with smoked pork, honey mustard, and mayonaise with a sprinkling of corn. I also like the slightly off iceberg lettuce, nice if it were brown. Does this come with a small package of sweet pickles. I'm just crazy about packaging the more the better. |

You're not referring to their food, are you? They run a fairly tight ship there. Diced chicken breast, romaine lettuce, feta cheese, and ranch dressing...mmmmmmmm. Makes me want to go back again tonight. |

I'm hoping they have that nice Taco bell style soft shell. Do they have the token Turkish or Pakistani guy cutting the smoked spam. The generous squirt of honey mustard with the possibility of adding bulgigi sauce.
I like it when they use the really old iceberg lettuce with tons of corn. |

Pita Time has some decent choices for vegetarians, and it's way better than what Subway in Itaewon has become (it wasn't so bad a couple years ago).
Their hummus pita with romaine lettuce, etc. is pretty healthy - and they have falafel pitas, which are ... well, better than nothing, I reckon. |

Actually, Pita Time is pretty good. The staff just kind of weird me out though. For things like feta or a bag, it costs an extra 200 won, which I have no problem with. They just always seem really worried if I ask for it and then tell me apologetically that I have to pay another 200 won.
I also don't understand the sandwich system. They have certain sandwiches like the chicken caser, and then you have to request lettuce and caeser dressing. Why not just list it as chicken?
I realize these are very small complaints, but they just haven't seemed to have worked out their system very well yet. |
