Here is a review for it:

http://the-gadgeteer.com/2008/12/08/wd_tv_hd_media_player_review/

Its got the latest update from Western Digital on it (v 1.03). I have it hooked up to my TV via HDMI and the picture is amazing. It plays about 95% of the files that I throw at it. I recommend getting a USB external hard drive.

Sorry, no network support. There are ways to get it to work using a custom firmware + USB Ethernet Dongle. If you are computer savvy, you could get it to work.

Anyways, the price is 100,000w. The first people to PM me will get priority. I will reply to PM's in the order which I receive them.

Included is the WD HDTV player, power cable, and remote. I live in Gangnam/Seoul. This thing CAN be shipped (its pretty small). I only ask the buyer to pay for shipping and handling (10,000w).

I have the same one. Anyone looking for a compact HD media player then this is the one u want. I use mine all the time and it looks really good in 1080p if your tv supports it.

And the price is also reasonable

I'm interested but how much did you pay for it in Korea?

I'm just asking because they are going brand new for around $70 to $100. I just did a quick google search and that's what came up.

As for as I know, you can't buy it in Korea. If you want to buy it, you have to buy through a US seller, and have them ship it to Korea.

I bought it a few months ago and had a friend in the US ship it over to me. Cost like $20 for shipping and took 2 weeks to get here. Buy it from me, you save shipping and you get it immediately.

Its a great little player. If you have a video file with subtitles, it displays them, even Korean subs. English Menu, Korean Subtitle support. You can't go wrong.

Actually yes you can buy it from many sellers in korea. Here are some links.

But you wont find a new one no where near 100,000 won.

You wont find the WD HD player anywhere near 70 to 100 usd even after the currency exchange.

At best maybe 170,000.

Its a fair price the seller is asking.

They must've introduced it recently. When I was looking a few months ago I couldn't find it anywhere. Anyways, its up for 100,000w. Any takers?

Hi! Are you still selling this. I'm very much interested in buying this. I just bought a 42-inch xCanvas Full HD and have been looking for device that could play downloaded movies. I've tried looking at home theater PCs but they're muuuuuuuch expensive. I think this does the job pretty well if it could play pretty much most videos. Could it play .mkv 720p/1080p files though? Please email me - [email protected] or send me message 01022098184

Maybe it has... OP hasn't posted anything else (sold or not) about it for a week and left people asking.
