|
|
Good evening all from wet and windy England...
I have just returned back to the UK after finishing my first contract in Korea. Overall, I had good time, so much so that I'd like to return and begin working in/around February. Before coming to Korea, I had to get my CRB check, and have it apostilled with my degree and provide transcripts etc. To get a new E2 visa, must I have to go through this process all over again? Or will the Korean immigration recognise that I have gone through the process already...and realize that My CRB check in the UK will STILL be clean because I spent the last year in Korea!!!
Could anyone with prior experience of returning since the new immigration rules provide any advice? I hope so...
Many thanks

I think you'll have to go through the whole process again.
I know that if you are already in Korea and simply extending your visa with the same employer, you can just head down to immigration and extend it without submitting the same docs. |

| I came back to the US after my year and I had to do it all again in order to go back. It seems like this year everything is taking three times as long as it did last year though. |
