I would really love for them to get their 똥 together one of these days. The one advertisement they play during all of their commercials always loads instantaneously and at double the volume of the show. Lately, the actual shows have been taking around 4 hours to watch a 22 minute long show. I wouldn't complain if they actually knew how to use decent streaming software where you could just let the show buffer so that you could watch the whole show later when it's finished downloading, but the software they use is under the assumption that their servers always work perfectly and you can just click play and watch the whole show.
I don't even know how or why the advertisements get 10 times the bandwidth, but it's fricken ridiculous. |

lately when watching colbert and daily show i haven't been getting the advertisements, but i know what you're talking about.

Actually, all three. I'm fine if I watch any really late, but if I try after work, they're all unwatchable. Youtube is fine as is megavideo, so I assume the problem is on their servers. I understand if a lot of people are watching, the speed won't be great. I just wish I could pause it and continue watching once enough was downloaded. I'd much rather wait a while and watch a whole episode than watch five seconds, wait for it to catch up and watch five more seconds continuously. South park used to load really well on southpark studios, but I think they changed over to the crappy system that the daily show and colbert had to make watching/navigating incredibly tedious. |
