Awesome! This is definitely worth a trip up from Busan.

Extra question: Where do you get your information about arts events from?

Saw some posters advertising this last night and I'm pretty pumped. Seoul has a lot of cool stuff going on if they would just advertise a little better.

Do you know of anything else along the same lines? I'm already getting tired of going up to Seoul just to drink buckets of gin.

This newspaper does a better job than most of covering events.

Monet to Picasso, Seoul Art Center, 12/16/2009-3/28/2010

Evidently Seoul has a good relationship with the Philadelphia Museum of Art, because in addition to
the Warhol collection they loaned out to the Seoul Musuem of Art, they've also loaned out this collection "Monet to Picasso" to SAC.

Hunh... wow! This really is an impressive group of rather well known paintings. I wonder how this is presented.... just like a big group of famous paintings or will there be some kind of presentation plan and thread through the exhibit?

Very curious about this.

Correction- the Warhol collection is on loan from the The Andy Warhol Museum, in Pittsburgh.

I love museums. More importantly, don't miss this opportunity to be exposed to great art.

Sadly, Seoul really only puts on the usual artists you've likely already seen. The Samsung Leeum Museum of Art in Hannam-dong, Itaewon, had a huge exhibit of Warhol two years ago. It seems only big name artists get put on stage in Korea. Ah, well.
