Anybody know of anything fun going on this weekend in Seoul? I just got here about a month ago from Cali and Im still trying to find the spots. I have been to Itaewon, and Hondae a lot so far, and I've been meaning to check out Gangnam soon.

Well, what sorts of activities do you consider to be fun? Providing some parameters will help others help you.

If you're into the night life then, yes, check out Gangnam. If you're into old stuff then go check out the National Museum and/or the War Museum; or, go check out some palaces and temples. If you're into nature, you could check out Bukhansan National Park just to the north of Seoul. For me, my most interesting weekends being wandering about areas in Seoul I hadn't been to before. Just pick a subway stop to get out at and start wandering. You're never too far from another subway station, and taxis are cheap if you get lost.

Tonight, Swedish House Mafia member Axwell will rock it out at club Volume (Crown Hotel, down the street from Itaewon) and Dubfire of Deep Dish is at Eden (Ritz Carlton).

Those are probably the hottest parties in town tonight. My guess is Axwell will blow the roof off the place, but Eden tends to have a much, much, much better looking crowd.

There are other nightlife areas:

- Apkujeong
- Hyewha
- Konkuk

I like club volume.

There's other stuff to do in Seoul.....

- National Museum of Modern Art at Seoul Grand Park
- Galleries in Samcheong-dong and Insadong
- Walk around the Hanok/museums in Gahoe-dong/Samcheong-dong/Jongno-gu
- Changyeunggung and Jongmyo (nicer when there's foliage)
- Arthouse movies: http://www.cinecube.net/
- Go to a nice sauna/jimjilbang
- Myeongdong, Kwang jang shi jang (jongno 4ga - the real Korea), and dongdaemun for shopping and people watching
- Eat stuff - honestly, I think Jonggak has the best selection of Korean restaurants.
- Bukhansan and Dobongsan are super cool
- Indoor rock and ice climbing: www.koreaontherocks.com/
