Why is it that Xylitol gum sticks my fingers? I grew up chewing Wrigley's and don't remember it ever sticking like this. Is there some ingredient the folks in Chicago use that they don't use here?

My theory is that it's to discourage you from blowing bubbles, because the gum will stick to your lips.

Yeah, so instead the ajummas just make that annoying cracking sound with their gum inside their mouths.

There's a lot that we use in Chicago that doesn't get used here. Like COJONES AMIRITE? EH? EH RIGHT?
