I'm getting two weeks to go on vacation, but I'm told that I have to be in quarantine for 7 days...
Basically I can go outside of Korea for 50% of my vacation and then I have to spend the other 50% of my vacation in the country.
Anyone else having to do "quarantine"? |

| I don't have to, but my hagwon friends do. It sounds like a crapshoot now whether you'll have to do it or not. |

"Quarantine this, biotch!"
Holler that and see how well that goes over. |

our school has already been hit by swineflu this year, so quarantining seems a little... pointless? Nevertheless i have to do it, and nevertheless im getting paid and given an extra week out of my deskwarming time in order to do it not complaining. |

heard of a big univ making their teachers come back a week early for "quarantine" purposes if they go abroad over winter break but the korean staff doesnt.
so typical of the logic here |
