I've been offered a job by both of these places. And am looking for any insight on which would be the best taking money, chances of resigning, and what looks best on my CV into account. I have 7 years teaching exp, an MA, some publications. THis is what I know, anyone have more info?

It seems taht money wise, EPIK offers more, with pesion, resigning, exit and entrance money. They also have full furunished flats, but no married housing for us.

Woosong has more vacation, and married housing, also less working hours.

I'd like to work somewhere for two years, then get a good uni job.

Any ideas which would be best? EPIK or Woosong?

I'd go with Woosung. The good unis ask for uni experience, not sure if working in a uni in Peru would fly too far with them.

+1

You have to start somewhere, then Woosung is good a place as any. After you have experience there then it will be easier to go to a higher Korean university.

But keep your eyes open. If you want to wait you could still find a job in January as some universities will be desperate then but I advise to take Woosung over EPIK relatively soon to give you some peace of mind.

Best of luck!

Two unis in Peru Smile BUt thanks, I think I'll sign with them. Down side will be the money and lack of OT. I'm hoping I can get permission to continue to work with Cambridge ESOL and do exams twice a year. It's easy and extra cash.

I have until 17 Dec to decide. WHich I guess is really 16 Dec for me.
