Last week dkoryo posted a whole bunch of games/books and then seems to have disappeared...I know at least one other guy paid him and then didn't receive the goods. His post on Dave's was removed, and his email address now rejects all emails.

Anyone happen to have a phone number for the guy? It wasn't that much money I sent him, but I'm just curious as to whether anyone happens to know the deal.

There may be a logical explanation....who knows?

Yes, I haven't received anything yet and I paid 300k for the console and some games. Kinda sucks, but maybe it's just some weird situation. I know his name from some e-mails I had with him in the beginning. Hopefully it's not the worst.

Yeah...he could have lost access to his gmail account and that is where our addresses were. I am still assuming that there's an explanation and it will all be good...I would like to know why his thread was removed from here, though. Maybe the MOD who removed it could shed some light on the situation.

At least it looks like there may be some sort of legitimate problem. That still doesn't explain why his email address no longer works, though. I guess we'll find out in the next couple days if the stuff arrives or not.

Yeah when I purchased 2 games he asked me to post that he could not checj also. I will send him a email if I don't get anything back I guess we will have to play the waiting game.

So, it looks like even if he is still legit he owes one of us a refund as he sold Rainbow 6 twice. He was supposed to send mine out last Wednesday.

We might have some luck calling Woori Bank, but all we have is an account number and not a name, and my guess is that even if the person at the bank understands what we want his number for that they wouldn't give it out.

that just about seals the deal. If this guy sold the same game twice then it's definitely a scam. I've contacted most of the people who posted in the original thread. Only one has yet to reply. This is a pretty involved scam if it is a scam. I was back and forth with this guy via email, and he seemed a decent sort... just goes to show.

I am at the university, which is what I use for my mailing address, and they haven't arrived yet.

We're all hoping, of course, that there's an explanation...it's just frustrating because nobody's got a phone number for him.

It's not that hard to sign on at a PC bang to let people know what's up. Sorry guys, don't buy stuff during the holidays like electronics unless you do the deal in person.

They should make a sticky about this.
