Okay, someone will have to find it on the one of the Korean sites. But my Korean friend told me that she read an article online that said that Taco Bell will be opening up shop in Korea again. Don't know if it is true, just throwing it out there.

I know Taco Bell is junky, trashy food, but if this is true I will shed some tears of joy when it opens.

I'm willing to put up with the (I'm sure will follow) Bulgogi burritos and Kimchi tacos, just as long as they bring the Bell back. Good news and well overdue.

Great News!
How there could be 500 Lotteria here and no Taco Bell was always a mystery to me. I've been bringing back Taco Bell sauce from America to use when I go to Dos Tacos. Glad there will be a local supply here in Seoul!
You know at Taco Bell you can order anything on the menu "Fresco Style" and they take out the cheese and sour cream and add extra diced tomato instead.

edit -
Wow there are actually 920 Lotteria in South Korea, and soon one Taco Bell (on base doesn't count).

Taco Bell sucks, that is probably why it hasn't made a return.

A fast food chain that is half-decent for fast food is Wendy's. I'll cheer the day that returns to Korea. However, I won't hold my breath on that one.

Wendy's just announced that they are pulling out of Japan. So I doubt they'll be coming back to Korea any time soon.

Taco Bell will be the best Mexican food in Korea when considering taste/cost. Hell, even their crap "steak" will beat out any of the beef burritos/tacos I've had at any Mexican restaurant in Korea...and I've pretty much tried them all in Seoul. No more 10,000 won rice burritos at Tomatillo for me.

AND Taco Bell has just re-introduced the cheesy gordita crunch. The fat kid in my soul is jumping up and down right now.

We'll see some sour (whipped) cream and salsa (ketchup) on their new "fusion" line of (pork) burritos. Guacamole will be nowhere to be found (if the price of avocados is any indicator if availability). Crying or Very sad
