Heading to India with a friend over Christmas, and we're looking to get the necessary shots first.
Can anyone recommend a good hospital to get vaccinations, preferably south of the river? My friend asked at the clinic below his hagwon and they told him to go to one near Yongsan, which is a bit far for us both.
Any other tips about shots/medicines needed for India would be appreciated also.
Thanks in advance. |

| We just went to the International Clinic (in Yongsan I believe) and they were great. We are also going to India and needed Hep A, Typhoid, Tetanus, and a polio booster. I think this may be the only clinic that offers specialized shots like this. We tried locally first, but apparantly most doctors do not have these shots available. You might go to any doctor local to you and see if you can have these shots sent from the international clinic to you. They are not cheap either. |

Thanks for the response! Do you mean the international clinic in Itaewon? |

| If you go to the clinic at Yongsan District Office you will be able to get some of the travel shots for free. They didn't even ask me for ID to prove I lived here. |

Thanks ajgeddes.
I ended up going to Cha Hospital near Yeoksam Station, and got malaria meds, and Hep A and tetanus injections.
They told me I don't need one for Polio, and that they were out of Typhoid vaccine.
I might double-check on the Polio, and find out if I can get typhoid elsewhere. |

Typhoid was the one I got for free at Yongsan Gu Cheong. |
