Years back hanmail email accounts would not, or mostly not, allow emails from either hotmail or yahoo. Is this still the case? I switched to gmail to get around this so I don't know if this is still an issue.

When ever I send gmails to my coteachers naver account, they end up in the junk box.

If you're brave enough to navigate the Korean registration process, you can make an e-mail account on Naver...

Screw that.

I tried to get my coteach to migrate over to gmail. I had everything set up, she could even still use her naver address but she hasn't logged into it once.

Another problem is that you only get a small amount of space for emails and attachments. So, she has to constantly delete old messages to make room for new ones. Even the enticement of 8gig of storage on gmil couldn't entice her. Rolling Eyes

it's gotten much, much better, but it still sucks.

I say that in that there is a degree of unpredictability. And that is just wrong. There is absolutely NO REASON that there should be any problem whatsoever. Gmail will send to every other email system in the world with no problems. Naver? Daum? who the hell knows what's going to happen.

With my students a lot of their emails go to my spam box. I also have 3 email addresses routed to one inbox, and what I've found is that the emails sometimes will make it into my 'teacher' gmail inbox, but wont get forwarded to the one that's always open that has access to all three. This is not a gmail problem, it's a korean issue.
