Any suggestions for this? I realise it's kind of late in the day to be asking, and that this thread has probably been done to death however many times, but my co-teacher only told me today that it'd be better to have books after she'd rubbished my 30-odd lesson plans as being "too difficult" for the children, and the search function on this site is crap. I teach at a high school; the students at the camp will all be new 1st-graders. |

I never use a book. I base my lessons around movies and go from there. For example we'll watch Ratatouille and then based on that do:
Songs
Crosswords
Cooking
Paper airplane competitons
Eat out at McDonalds
Create a new restaurant
Go to the noraybang
YOu get the idea, right?
PS No need to mention the McDonalds, Noraybang to your co-t cause they might say no. |
