I'm running the Seoul Marathon for the first time in March and I'm wondering if anybody has any information about where to find specialty running stores in Seoul. I need some expers to fit my feet with shoes.

What is it about marathons? I mean, they are not fun. Lots of people have done it. It's not good for your body.

Especially a lot of accounting types and the not-so-athletic seem to get hooked on marathons in their adult lives.

Ah well, better than sittin on the couch I guess.

I ran the Seoul marathon last year... I always buy shoes at Asics. They aren't great about helping you find good shoes for your feet- but at least there's a selection. They also go up to 260 (size 9) in women's which is nice. New Balance cuts off at 250 for women- and half the stores barely carry actual running shoes.

I got no problems with the cold, but I can understand why a lot of people would. A marathon in March? That's about the worst time in the year to have it.

PS: Shinramyun, I love you. Your noodles that is.

I'd rather run outside in the cold than run anything more than an hour on a treadmill. Once you're out the door it's not bad.
