|
|
I recently had laser treatments and Botox from a doctor near Korea University. He's a general doctor so he can take care of most problems. His English is good enough to explain the proceedures and side effects, if any. He'll give you a a discount on the Botox injections if you share the bottle with another person. That way he doesn't have to waste any. His prices for laser treatments are reasonable and I can say I'm very happy with the results too!
If you'd like his number and directions to the clnic, just PM me. I'm happy to pass it along.
WALKING/BUS DIRECTIONS FROM THE NEAREST SUBWAY ARE:
Take subway line 6 , all the way to Korea University Station.
Come out via exit 4 and walk down 20 meters where you can take any bus , (If you wish to walk, go out the exit on the opposite side. Sorry I don't exactly know which one it is but it is on the side with Korea University.)
Take the bus 2 stops and get off.
Then walk down 20 meters and see pedestrian crossing. Go across the pedestrian crossing and go down the little street.
You'll see the clinic on the second floor. You go into the door next to the tiny pharmacy.
Clinic name is Nupurnuwon. It has a green sign in Korean.
PM for the phone number.

Different lasers do different things. IPL will tighten the skin, remove hair, and improve acne among other things. I mainly got it for some little pink veins around my nose and on my cheeks. Fraxel laser will minimize pores, make scars look less severe, and plump up the collagen making a more youthful appearance.
I'm not sure the doctor would appreciate having his cell phone and email posted on the internet. Would you???? I'll get the exact walking directions and post them soon. (I usually drive and use GPS) |

Ha....Botox. I guess if you don't want to have any facial expressions for the rest of your life it's good. |

tzechuk, most people who own a business are out to make MONEY. Not everyone is independently wealthy like you living off trust funds, alimony, and child support payments and are able spend our time saving helpless hamsters from satanic rituals. We've got mouths to feed, payments to make, and bills to pay. Every doctor in KOREA that I know is in the same boat.
Before you go making such broad statements you should know that this very doctor examined, treated, and prescribed medication for my 3 year old nephew FREE OF CHARGE when he was here with his family from the US. Considering he didn't have insurance the doctor, the very one you have accused of being "out to make MONEY", could have charged a hefty fee but didn't. |

Aren't specialist doctors in the US the highest paid in the world? I'm sure Korean doctors are much more reasonable. |

Konglishman-Not sure if they keep blackheads from forming or not. However, I felt as if I had fewer after I had IPL.
Observe-I've seen the crankiest looking ajoshis in the clinic getting botox and laser treatments. Think it vain if you want but last week someone guessed I was almost 10 years younger than I really am. They did ask if I had a face lift or something after I admitted to my true age. I said that I had never had any invasive proceedure done. |

I'm not sure how much 5000nz$ is in won but his rates are quite reasonable for laser and everything else.
My mom asked her dermatologist about fillers and botox in the states. She was quoted $2000. I suspect my doc. would do it for about half that maybe less depending on the amount used. Now mom is visiting next summer! |

Maybe just a little, and depends where they are.
Some laser treatment can remove top layers of skin, changing the skin to being tighter and less oily. |
