Actually, this is a real story although I imagine that the weeklyworldnews may have exaggerated it in some way. Of course, keep in mind that this will take a million years at a minimum and probably would not technically be an oean. More likely, it would just be an extension of the Red Sea. Also, just in case you doubt me, here are some credible news sources.

Funny you should mention that because I was used more than once as a source for their articles regarding US-Korean military relations.
