When you go back to your home country?

I probably will, the only reason I come onto ESL Cafe is for the Buy/Sell/Trade forum and technology.
Every now and then I wander onto the General page.

What about you guys?

I think I'll check in every now and again to begin with.....although I should imagine I'll stop using the Job Discussions forum and that a lot of the threads on this forum will be less likely to be of interest anymore. I guess I'll naturally wean off it eventually as I move on and away from Korea and this particular stage of my life.

I'll stop when they pry my cold dead fingers off of my keyboard. Dave's is my life--my raison d'etre, as it were.

I've been back since February, but I still come on. Just not as often. Nostalgia, habit and I might go back.

I guess that's why you get the privilege of having an avatar.

Come on, spill the beans.... tell us why you have an avatar and so many others can't.

Seriously I have no idea. I noticed another newb had one so I checked my profile and I had the option to add one. So I did. Huzzah!

Also I'm made of win.

Mods have no control over avatars, with the exception of asking Dave to remove it from those who abuse the privilege. Dave is the only one who can give or remove the privilege.

I still use it five years after getting a job with the US government. I find it entertaining and it allows me to reminisce.

The option is activated when you reach a certain post count, not sure what the number is though.

And yes, I will stop using Dave's when I leave Korea. At least I will stop posting on it, but I may check back for some lulz every now and then.
