I felt the sudden urge to eat some Reuben sandwiches....

Anyone seen deli corned beef slices, sauerkraut, juniper berries, caraway seeds, rye bread, and swiss cheese around anywhere?

Swiss cheese can be found at Costco and maybe some dept stores.
I make my own Rye bread with caraway seeds but there is some sorta kinda rye at Costco that's just not quite right.
I've bought the Kuhne brand of Saurkraut in the past. Haven't seen it recently that I can recall.
Corned beef????? When you find some call me! Wink

I've been looking high and low for corned beef with no luck. Last year I ended up "bringing" a slab over from the States.

Zenkimchi built his from scratch. He is the biggest food blogger in Korea, so if he can't procure the ingredients locally, I don't know who can.

Making your own corned beef is not that hard to do and tastes much better. Totally getting your reuben cravings. That's what got me to try doing it on my own last year.

It looks like that cured meats is becoming a small trend here, with Leo's Deli and Suji's now making their own. Don't forget Chef Meili. But it's really much cheaper to make your own. And stay away from the pink stuff unless you enjoy cancer. Nitrates these days are just added to corned beef for coloring purposes and don't provide any flavor.
