now that the link is there, I can give a proper comment. Jezebel isn't bad, but I don't consider it a feminist blog, it's pop culture site, the same as the site that spawned it- Gawker. Jezebel happens to have a feminist slant on the celebs and stuff it covers. From what I've read, the whole Gawker media empire exploits it's writers, so I'm wary of supporting the site

he agreed with them on a lot of basic points, but thought there was a tendecy to overreact, especially in the comment sections- until I showed him what the comments on broadsheet looked like, to put things in perspective.

I don't remember that thread. I miss jonoguru- he called me unladylike for enjoying a beer outside a gs25.

You wouldn't, it was a conversation he and I had not long before the accident. I miss him too. .

The "accident?" Did something happen to him or you?

I hate being the bearer of bad news, but he was killed in a motorcycle wreck back in October.

Oh no! I'm really sad. I loved him. He was great. I love Peter Lorre as well, so I always appreciated his avatars. How sad. I can't believe I didn't read about this earlier.
