I'm thinking about getting this as re-signing/xmas present. I will use it mostly as an HTPC.
Is it a good deal?
You can get the the Revo for 512,000 and a similar but not identical screen for 350,000. So it is cheaper than buying them separate.
I'm most curious about the screen. Can you get a similar or better monitor for the same price? |

You can get a 23inch flatscreen for cheaper than 350'000.
Here's one for 185'000 |

Yeah, that is definitely not the best deal on a monitor like that. It's a TN panel, so you can get 23" 1080p monitors just like it for $200 any day of the week (in the US). The other poster showed where you can find even cheaper monitors here in Korea. Once the price starts to approach 350,000, I'd just spend another 200,000 or so and get an IPS or PVA panel. Check out the Ultrasharp panels available from Dell here http://www1.ap.dell.com/kr/ko/business/Monitors/ct.aspx?refid=monitors&s=bsd&cs=krbsd1. They'll blow this monitor out of the water. Of course, they are a lot more expensive. |
