Got them all. At a slight advantage, re: where I'm from. The one that stumped me the most was Mirandese.

I got 26/46 and I'm American. When it came to the smaller Eastern European countries I had trouble remembering what languages they speak. Everyone should get 15-20 fairly easily.

Never been to Europe, but I managed 29/46. (Ddeubel, how'd you get 49/46?)

Some I missed I should have got. My grandmother from Pontypridd would have been devastated that I missed her home country. I also should have got two that I simply didn't know how to spell.

One that I thought for sure was on the list was Flemish. I guess that's Dutch?

And, there are some that I wouldn't have known no matter how long I had. I don't want to spoil the fun for anyone else, but who knew Norway had another official language?

30/46 - couldn't remember Catalan, though I have been there. Forgot about Malta, Basque, and Slovak etc. Some I didn't know as a language - like Sami, which I believe is the language of the reindeer people.

Fun quiz!

30/46. The Eastern European languages evaded me, as did random ones I've never heard of like Sami and Romansh.

Oops - sorry, I meant 39.

And what da hell is "Mirandese"? I also was disheartened that Corsican nor Roma were on the list. I did get Sami, one of the first indigenous and 'non national " languages to get official status.
