				| That's not a very happening area of Bucheon. If you come a little south toe Jung-Dong, there is a lot going on. |

Yeah, if you go to Jung-Dong, there is much more going on. Mostly around the E-Mart / Hyundai department store area there is a foreigner bar (Rythm and Booze) and a bunch of other pubs and restaurants.

But if you aren't into making the trip and you have a facebook account, there is a group called 'Bucheon City Teachers'. You can join and post on there to see if there is anyone closer to you. |

Thanks for the replies, Jung dong is not that far from me.

Are there any groups that I could join that go out at the weekends, i'm kinda shy about going into a bar on my own on a sat night |

It's not very happening. It's old and less developed than Bucheon station area.

I guess rent values are a bit low.

				Thanks for the info.

The school I may teaching at is in the Sosa area, so I am just assuming that is where my apartment will be. |

I used to live in Shim Gook Il Dong. The next "dong" over from

Jung Dong. It was really interesting. I lived in a villa, which was pretty old. the neighborhood was pretty old and rundown as well. But for some reason I really liked it as well. The only hassle was that it was a 20 minute walk to Jung Dong and the bar. Getting there was no big deal...but drunk as a skunk trying to catch a cab at 4:00 am was the main reason I asked to move. Sosa is about 4 metro stops away from where you want to be in Bucheon. Provided you got a place to crash when you come out to get blitzed, might not be such a bad setup. |
