|
|
I was reminded of this game while watching an excellent Korean teacher's English lesson this week. Pass the Paper (Snowball).
Students in groups pass around a piece of paper while music plays. When it stops, whoever has the paper must answer the question or do a specific task. In this game - finish the Christmas Carol.

| It's so simple, it can't fail. Brilliant. I'll be using it as a warmer for Winter camp. Arigato Gozaimashita! |

Arigato to you too!
Yes, simplicity really =s genius. We need new methods to get students to produce language, especially in Asia.
More games uploaded yesterday! Let me know how it went, feedback appreciated.

Some more pass the paper games, more vocabulary oriented now posted. Get the powerpoints and alter as you wish....
Here's an example - Pass the Paper Name It.
Just take whatever vocabulary theme you are teaching and play. Students must name using the letter prompts and get points. With the ppt, you can mix up the slides so they don't know the letters in advance... Give a set time to name.
Cheers,
DD
