This would be funny, but I think some people were genuinely offended, so I have to say it's a bit sad (but still kind of funny)

I think its hilarious, i'd still find it hilarious if it said "even fat ones". |

Eh? If anything, that should read Scots given that Scotland has the highest proportion of red heads in the world. |

IDK, this would be much less offensive if people weren't already attacking red-heads for no reason.
I don't understand the red-head hate. It's weird and kind of immature. |

Were they "special" students? 
I really despair for the future in the US when I hear stories like this. The funny part is that people blame television and video games, instead of blaming parents for not bothering to instill any modicum of common sense into their bratty, brain-dead offspring. |

My Kiwi and British coworkers told me that redheads AKA gingers are considered differently from other white people and are discriminated against in some cases. As an American, I find this crazy absurd. Because, I mean, really? I just don't get it.
Euros, please explain to me the [Mod Edit] hate. I don't "understand" racism from an educated viewpoint but I get it from a cultural one. So what is the cultural reasoning? Is it because people just need to pick out someone (anyone) as different (even if only slightly so) to feel better about themselves?
Anyway, as red-head hate is not applicable to my culture, I think this card would be fine in the US. |

A lot of British humour revolves around making jokes about non-PC stuff. You can hear variations of the ginger joke told in any British Pub.
Personally, I found the joke funny. Immature, maybe but it was still funny to me.
I can remember the jokes my friends and I used to tell each other at High School and University in the UK. Would have shocked our parents and teacher.
The names of the quiz teams for quiz night in the Students' Union Bar were all based on Michael Jackson jokes. Happy Days!!!!
God! I miss British humour in Korea. Got to get my juice from watching repeats of Mock The Week. Frankie Boyle - Legend!!!! |

its not because of south park, ginger kids were always picked on when i went to school |

That's really bizarre. I never knew there was serious prejudice against ginger people. I've heard people say red-heads typically weren't very attractive but that's all. Actually Chelsea Handler, the comedianne with the E! show, for those who haven't heard of her, said that sleeping with red-heads was bad cause it looks like they have a clown between their legs. But it's just a joke.
In Turkey there are even some red-heads, I think they probably have some Eastern European ancestry. People sometimes call them carrot and orange-head but just jokingly. |
